Bodies Revealed? The dead body exhibit?

Has anybody been to this before??? I’m probably going today but I was just wondering if it was cool and what was there!
http://www.bodiesrevealed.com

they’re all over for me it’s at Gwiz!

The Expert answers:

Ive gone! Its actually really interesting, but kind of gross. You see every part of someones body, with the skin taken all off. Its really interesting though. Have fun!

Robert asks…

Why are all the bodies Asian in the Body Worlds exhibit??

I recently went to go see the body worlds exhibit and noticed that mostly all of the bodies looked like they were Asian… did anyone else notice this… and why is this???

The Expert answers:

I noticed that too. I guess because there are more Asians in this world it is more likely that they will donate their bodies to something like that.

Carol asks…

Will the Bodies Exhibit ever be in Ohio again?

I went to see it a few years ago when it was in Cincinnati and I would love to see it again. I was under the impression that it was a traveling exhibit, but I cannot seem to locate a schedule for upcoming events anywhere. Perhaps I am wrong. Anyone have any idea if it travels or if it will ever be in Ohio again?? Thanks guys.

The Expert answers:

I remember reading that the only city the tour made profit on in Ohio was Cleveland. I imagine if it returns it would be in Cleveland. Try calling the Great Lakes Science Center (they hosted the tour the last time it was in CLE)

Donald asks…

Body exhibit should I go?

I heard about it and I’m kinda on the fence about whether I wanna go. I think it’d be interesting but then again I don’t want it to haunt me later in life because it was disturbing. Like what kind of stuff is there are bodies sliced open? Are there decapitated heads? I get squeamish watching bloody gore movies and I’ve heard about saw movies and if it’s anything like that I probably won’t want to go. Is there alot of blood? My main concern is it disturbing and will I have nightmares about it later in life? I’m 15 by the way. Thanks:)!

The Expert answers:

As far as the gore factor, it all just looks like meat. From a medical/biological perspective the displays will show you human anatomy and various systems first hand.

Susan asks…

Should my wife and I go to the bodies exhibit?

We’re thinking about going to see the “bodies” exhibit. But we’re afraid it’s gonna cost us an arm and a leg. What must we do??

The Expert answers:

William asks…

Do you have to join the army to become a bodyguard?

To be a bodyguard, can’t you just take all the courses and train or do you HAVE to join the army?

The Expert answers:

A bodyguard is simply a thug for hire. Take some martial arts training and I would say handgun training but seeing you are from the UK that is out of the picture. Buy some nice suits and wear dark, shiny shirts.

Sharon asks…

What is the name of Nicki Minaj’s bodyguard?

I know her best friend is called Safaree but is he her bodyguard too? If not, what is the name of her bodyguard?

The Expert answers:

Yes, Safaree (also known as Scaff Beezy, which may have something to do with Nicki’s song ‘Beez In The Trap’) is also her bodyguard. I love Nicki, good question! (:

George asks…

What would happen if a bodyguard refused to take a bullet for the president?

I know when Bodyguards for the President are assigned the take a promise to take a bullet for the president… But what if they don’t and clearly chose not to? Could a punishment by law take place?

The Expert answers:

They would definitely get fired, and probably worse because they made a promise and failed to act on it. Anything could happen behind the scenes that the public wouldn’t know about.

Jenny asks…

Why did the Body Shop stop selling the Coffee Body Butter and Jasmine Fragrance Oil?

I loved the way both of those smelled, but they don’t sell it anymore! Whoever reads this, can you please email the Body Shop telling them to bring back these two products? Perhaps if they get enough emails, they’ll bring these back =)

The Expert answers:

Because that sounds grouse!

William asks…

Is the body shop big and curvy mascara good?

I think thats what its called.. the one in the pink bottle.
Yeah so would you reccomend it, are body shop cosmetics any good?

The Expert answers:

Everyone says Body Shop makeup sucks… It’s for bath items.
No I don’t recommend it. What I do recommend is CoverGirl’s LashBlast Volumizing Mascara – the orange one. Or, use one of the Rimmel ones, although I haven’t tried it, many say it’s great. So is Maybelline’s Lash Stilettos.

Richard asks…

How do i upload downloads to the Sims 2 body shop?

Hi people!, So, i have The Sims 2 double deluxe, and the Sims 2 university, and i was wondering, how do i upload downloads to the body shop? I know websites like Modthesims, but what do i do? Can someone please explain this? (slowly, I’m kind of dim) Thanks!

The Expert answers:

I had the same problem.
All i did was re-install them. (I had lots of custom content)
Not delete them & then find the again. O.o
If the custom content is from sims2.com then all you have to do is click on them 2 times.
& then click install. It takes a while but its worth it.

Thomas asks…

How do you put sims created in sims 2 body shop into the sims 2 game?

Hey so after you create a sims in body shop, how do you use it in-game? I’ve tried packaging it, installing it and copying the file to the Created Sims folder but nothing seems to work. HELP!!!

Thanks in advance.

The Expert answers:

All u do is create the sim, and in the last step it should say somehting about importing the sim 2 the game. I haven’t used body shop in a while so I can’t remember exactly. But thats all u do, then it should appear in ur game.

Nancy asks…

How can I cash a supplemental check from my insurance company made out to the body shop?

The car was released and the insurance company sent me a supplement check made to the body shop, but I want to get the work done else where. Can I cash the check and take it to another shop? I am no longer with the issuing insurance company.

The Expert answers:

No, that’s the whole point of making it payable to the body shop. You’ll have to send it in to the adjuster, and ask them to make it payable to the NEW body shop where you want to have the work done.

It doesn’t matter that you’ve since switched insurance companies. The claim is still valid.

If you have a loan on your policy, and you don’t actually want to have the work done, you can ask the check to get made payable to the lender – but there’s no way you’ll actually get your OWN hands on this money.

Robert asks…

Parents, did your high school have majors?

The high school I attended from grades 9-12 had majors. There were eight majors such as Arts & Humanities, IB/Honors, Institute of Technology (MIT), Technical & Business Careers (VoTech), Institute of Health Sciences and a few others.

Most of the students attended classes in one or both of the main school buildings but there were also a few satellite locations off campus throughout the city. I was explaining this to my husband and he had no idea what I was talking about. But he also thought it was weird we didn’t have an auto body shop on site, you had to go to VoTech for that.

The school district we live in now just has a “regular” curriculum. There are regular and honors classes, that’s it. It is a much smaller area here compared to where I went so something like that wouldn’t work here but I think it’s a good idea. It gets kids ready for what they want to do with their lives and what careers they plan on having in the future. He, on the other hand, thinks that Catholic school is the only way to go.

What was your school like and what kind of program do you think is best?

The Expert answers:

I attended two different high schools one for the first half of my freshman year and the other for the remainder of my high school training .

The first school I attended did not offer “majors” but allowed students to pick and choose their courses much like you would in college. If you wanted to go to college you chose the more advanced classes, if you just wanted to slack you chose wood shop and made hash pipes. That city had several high schools and if you wanted technical training beyond a wood shop full of stoners you had to attend a different facility located cross town. I hated every minute of being in that school. If you wanted to got to college you stayed in the acedemic high school and were not offered any technical training.

Fortunately I moved and entered another school which offered combinations of college prep and technical training. Freshman year everyone got the same acedemic training including wood and metal shop. During this first year the industrial arts program also exposed you to the vocational trade programs. Sophomore year you chose a program that was oriented to either college prep , Vo/Tech or a combination of the two.

Vo/Tech offered the typical selection of trades (HVAC, Building, Automotive, Machine, Printing,Electrical an Electronics) with alternating two week sessions of Shop and class. What was unique about this Vo/Tech program was you were also allowed to select college prep level classes.

I really like this combined Vo/Tech and college prep program especially the alternating two weeks of shop vs class room instruction.

Maria asks…

Tattoo Body Location Names?

Does anyone have a link so I can see the names of the areas you get tattoos. Because I remember I went into a shop and they were calling the areas different names. I was wanting one on my lower arm, like sort of by my wrist, and the artist called it some weird name haha. So it would be much appreciated.
No, but i told him thats where I wanted it, and he replied thats not what we call it, thats the ” ” area, idk, im just curious haha

The Expert answers:

Some areas do have names.

Words on your neckline would be a “collar rocker” and words in a arc on your stomach would be a stomach rocker.

You can always google it.

Carol asks…

Can I keep the extra money from a check from the insurance company?

Some guy opened his door on my brand new car and put a ding in the side of it. I went to three different shops and they all said paintless dent repair was not an option because of the location of the damage. After I picked a body shop, the insurance company sent a check for the amount to fix the car. I just dropped my car off at the dealership to get warranty paint work done, so I just decided to have them fix the ding while they were at it. I called the guy’s insurance company and told them what I was doing, so they sent a new check to me. The body shop called me and asked if I wanted paintless dent repair and I told them to do it if they could, but I didn’t think it was possible. I found out they fixed it, so my insurance check is probably over the amount to repair by $500. Can I keep that money or do I have to give it back to the insurance company?

The Expert answers:

That’s correct.

The money is yours. Only if you ar satisfied with the repairs.

Wait about two weeks to make sure that the job was completely at your satisfaction before you cash it.

That way if there was some other dings or damage that you saw they can fix it at that point.

Donna asks…

Can Geico legally force me to have an adjuster inspect my car at their “approved” location?

I live in Florida. I sideswiped my car against a column in a parking garage when I swerved away from some jerk who almost hit me head on. There’s no police report because the guy took off and I didn’t get the license plate info, so I was told by the building security that it wasn’t worth it to get cops involved.

Anyway, the damage is sort of bad (back passenger door has a huge dent, really bad scratches on door and onto the panel behind it, and the wheel is bent). I called Geico to process a claim, and of course I’m considered at fault because “avoiding an accident doesn’t mean you can cause another one” (their words). They asked if I wanted to use one of their approved Auto Xpress repairs shops, giving me the whole speech about how the repairs are guaranteed for life and whatever. However, I want to use a body shop that I’m already comfortable with and will also guarantee its repairs. I told this to Geico, and after giving me a hard time, they said it was fine but that the insurance adjuster cannot meet me at the body shop to do the inspection. They said their procedure is to have me go to some random body shop (that also happens to be one of their approved ones) and have the adjuster do the estimate and cut the check there. If I had used an approved shop, then of course their adjuster would have no problem going there to do the inspection. I got upset because I know that the body shop next door to the one I want is one of their “approved” shops, so it’s not like the adjuster would be going out of his way to see my car. They claim that if the car is drivable, then they will not have the adjuster meet me at the shop of my choice. Can they legally force me to take my car to the place they want for the inspection? The owner of the body shop I want said that he will ensure that the adjuster shows up to his place, but is that possible?

Sorry it was long, but thanks for any feedback.

The Expert answers:

You can take your vehicle to ANY shop you want to. GEICO will simply send a staff adjuster there to inspect the damage. By using an ‘approved’ shop you speed up the process — the shop can usually write and submit the estimate electronically and begin work on the car at once. By waiting for a staff adjuster (who I’m sure is already overworked) you delay the process by a few days. The owner of your shop has NOTHING to do with the adjuster ‘showing up’ as he said but GEICO will be happy to inspect the car anywhere you like.

David asks…

’00 VW Jetta, airbag module location?

I work for a Volvo/Mack dealership in the body shop, we normally only work on heavy duty trucks, well one of our customers brought us in his car to work on and we cannot locate where the little box for the airbag goes, have checked under the console and under the seat. Cannot get any help from local dealer…any VW techs out there??

Yes I posted this 2 times, just trying to get the question out there for hopefully some answers. Thanks
Sorry I guess I should have specified, I meant the airbag control (ECM) module. The little silver control box for the airbags. I have been told its either under the center console or the front passenger seat…but its not.

The Expert answers:

The air bag module(s) are located in the steering wheel and the passenger side of the instrument panel, if equipped with a passenger side air bag. The modules are molded to fit into their designated areas, the driver’s side is located in the center of the steering wheel. The passenger side module is molded to fit into the instrument panel and is located above the glove box, it is generally unnoticeable until deflated.

The module contain four parts: an inflator, a bag, a container, and the cover. The purpose of the inflator is to generate the gas needed to fill the air bag, it consists of a high strength steel casing containing a propellant that is activated by an igniter. The igniter is fired by the electrical signal received when the safing sensor closes. When the igniter is fired, the propellant discharge is ignited and fills the bag. As the bag fills, invisible “split seams” in the cover tear open allowing the bag to inflate and cushion the forward motion of the occupant and protect against serious injury

The air bag indicator is located on the instrument cluster and illuminates when activated by the diagnostic monitor. The indicator illuminates when the key is placed in the ignition and turned to RUN , this is the bulb prove-out. The indicator will stay illuminated after the vehicle is started while the diagnostic monitor checks the system for faults, if no faults are detected, the indicator will go out after about 6 seconds. If the indicator does not go out after 6 seconds, a fault has been detected in the system, a DTC will be flashed using the indicator.

Betty asks…

How can I find someone to help me live within my income?

Hi, I have a problem that just isn’t as simple as telling me to stop! I can’t live within my income. I am 40 years old and only have 200.00 in the bank. I have bad self control when it comes to NOT spending my money. According to my figures I should be able to pay my bills and have money left over even after expenses. I work from home so I have almost no commuting expenses, my house is paid for, my car is paid for (but was wrecked so now needs about 2000.00 in body work) and basic living expenses. It’s not as if I am living high on the hog! My grocery bill has been slimmed and cut. I use coupons, shop sales, etc. My washer and dryer are 15 years old all my household furnishings are 10 years old from major home remodeling 10 years ago. I don’t care for clothes or shoes shopping. I have very basic stuff. I don’t even own any makeup. I get my hair done 2x year at the beauty school, do my own manicures.
And I can almost justify everything I spend. Examples just this week: Such as today one store had a sell on name brand (our favorite) 20pk of toilet paper for 10.99, if you buy 2 you get a 5.00 gift card and I already had a 10.00 gift card from a prescription promotional several months ago. So I bought two packs for 22.00-10.00 gift card-4.00 coupons (2.00 of each multipack) and only paid 8.00 THEN I bought two more using the other 5.00 gift card I got for the first two and coupons. SO I got 80 rolls of toilet paper for 21.00. Really a good deal, right BUT I already have 150 rolls in storage bought on previous sales.

Another store had Dawn on sale for .99 and I had coupons for 1.00/2 so each one was .49. I this week added 20 bottles to the other 62 in the cabinet.

And another any Suave product on sale .89 using coupons buy 1 get 1 free had a total of 48 bottles of bodywash, shampoo, conditioner and lotion.

I do the same with grocery purchases also. And I do donate quite a bit. I have been very blessed in my life even though things get really tight and pinch hard I have never had to go without. I just want to be able to make and KEEP a cushion.

So any ideas what I can do to hold my money for short term but accessible for an emergency and long term? And just live off an allowance?

The Expert answers:

Sounds like you are addicted to the “rush” of shopping with sales, coupons, and such. Have you thought about sharing your knowledge with your friends or even online? How about trading coupons or selling some of your stuff to others? If all else fails and you are not happy with things right now, try therapy. This could also be a sign of hoarding or another problem. Since I don’t know you I can’t tell which. I know lots of women who stay home and buy lots of things and store them. The trick is to know when to stop.

Sandy asks…

teens, did you go shopping today? if you did what did you buy?

i got a zip up hoodie in black from jcpenny, was on sale
a long sleeve striped shirt from jcpenny, also on sale (i finished up my gift card i had)

I got a shirt from american eagle ( shirt was on sale and I used a gift card i found which had some $ on it, i was surprised)

also got 3 mini sprays from bath and body works, the mix and match 3 for $10..
~ Paris Amour ( i really love it but I brought it for my friend in the first place, not going back on my work and keeping it for me, but I might go back in the future for one of my own)
~ Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin
~ Warm Harvest Apple
~ Charmed Life body lotion (got for free with coupon, so I didn’t have to pay the $1 for it)
~ halloween Pocketbac in Chocolate Chew (once again, for free with coupon)

if you went shopping, what did you buy today?

The Expert answers:

I love American Eagle. 🙂 It’s the best! I bought a cute crop top, two pairs of jeans, and a bracelet there. I also went to Bath and Body Works and used a coupon (if you buy $10 or more worth or stuff, you get a free item from a signature collection) so I bought some more PINK perfume and a body wash, it’s the Paris Amour (it smells sooooo yummy!) I also went to Forever 21 and got some cute nail files, some eyeshadow, some jewelry, and a pair of cute flats. Then I went to Hollister and bought a new cardigan, it’s really cute. I also went to A&F and got some sweatpants.

Mandy asks…

Is CLIPPING COUPONS really worth it? What about thegrocerygame.com??

I have found that I do save a lot of money clipping coupons — my last grocery bill was $125 but I only paid $55 b/c of the coupons / grocery game — but I also find I am buying things we wouldn’t have otherwise bought (body wash / carmelized walnuts…) and I spend hours organizing the grocery list and then searching for sale items at the store…

Folks with exerience doing the coupon thing — what do you think?

As a note, I used to only go grocery shopping once a month (always working , traveling, eating out…) before we had our baby — now that I stay home, I have more time and we do need to save more money than before…

Thanks!

The Expert answers:

I look at it as money I keep in my pocket rather than the stores keeping it in their registers. Every dime I save gains interest in my bank and helps my family. I don’t mind taking the time to organize myself to use coupons. I have stopped saving coupons for things I don’t actually need or use, since it makes you spend money on ridiculous items.
One tip: I love putting extra coupons I won’t use on top of items in the store. I consider it my random act of kindness. Hey, it can’t hurt the karma either!
One more tip: Once I had kids I totally sold my name and address to every formula, diaper, Babies R Us, etc. Company that had a website. Get free stuff and better coupons in the mail. And even though I never used formula, I used them for trading in my playgroup. Ya, that’s right, we exchange coupons. We’re badass.

Thomas asks…

Victoria’s Secret bad attitude employees?

Has anyone else had any trouble with Victoria’s Secret? I went there today because I’m getting married & wanted to stock-up on things. I had not tried to ombine any “coupons or offers.” I had a $10 off any purhase card, 3 $10 gift cards, a $10 off + free panty coupon & 4 free lipgloss with any purhase coupons. Here’s what happened: I didn’t combine anything but I wanted to use them up. I asked the clerk the best way to do it to which she was VERY rude. When I got to the counter, I’d bought 10 bottles of perfume & lotion sets. I handed her my $10 off coupon & paid with he gift card. She said I could not do that. Then the manager said I could use my $10 off card & pay with my gift card but the other lady refused, still…so I just paid the whole thing in cash even though I had those gift cards…while she was ringing me up I said, “I have a card for a free lipgloss, can I use it now with this purchase?” She said “Sure.” I said “Geat, where are they? I’d like a red one.” Then she hit the button on the register & said, “Oh, sorry…you can’t now because I just completed the transaction. Sorry.” She said to get my stupid lipgloss, I’d have to buy something else. I said okay. I didn’t, I just left. The last THREE TIMES I have been there the wmen working in there have been so rude to me, almost cruel & I don’t know why. I do know that when I went into the place once before they were miffed because I’d been able to use a bunch of gift cards & coupons & ‘d gtten like $150 in stuff for only $30. Ever since then they are really mean to me. I know it’s not in my mind because I was with a male friend today & he was advising me on my purchases so that my futire husband would be most pleased. He said to me, “I don’t know what you have done to them but the women who work here hate you & I dn’t know why.”
WHY IS IT THEY ARE BEING SO MEAN TO ME, THEY DON’T EVEN KNOW BE EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THAT I HAVE SHOPPED THERE BEFORE!? I NEVER gve anyone any trouble. I have never asked for any discounts, I just hand them the coupons or gift cards or whatever & say “I have these, please use them if you can.” I am being serious when I say they literaly look down their noses at me & hate me!? I do not understand. On the flip side…Bath & Body Works is owned by the same company & when I went in there today, I was able to buy lots of stuff & I did use some coupons & the girl even combined two I don’t think she was supposed to ut she did anyway…(she had one behond the counter) then she offered to give me this huge bag of stuff for $25 that was worth like $109 so it ended up I got over $400 of stuff in there for $80 when I was all done in Bath & Body Works…I am wondering WHY the VS store is so mean to me but the B&BW company is so nice & polite…it has nothing to do with money; it’s the attitude. It’s weird. How can I shop VS in the store (I hate shopping online) without this happening??
THANKS FOR ALL YOUR ANSWERS! STEPH, I SENT YOU MY BATH & BODY WORKS CODES & A LINK TO THE WEBSITE I BUY MOST OF MY COLIN STUART BOOTS AT, THEY HAVE THEM FOR $4.99 & UP. I WENT TO VS TODAY & WAS VERY CAREFUL & BOUGHT MY LINGERIE & 3 BOTTLES OF PERFUME & IT WAS NICE, I THINK I SAVED $30 ALL TOGETHER…BUT MY TOTAL WAS LIKE $800 LOL!

Can Anyone Answer My Black Friday Bath and Body Works Question?

I really don’t want to get up at 2am to go stand in line at Bath and Body Works this Black Friday but my mom had her eyes on the VIP bag that they have for $20 if you spend $40. I figured I would go in and spend $40 for things for my sister and my mom and use the $10 off a $30 purchase coupon I have. I saw that online they have the VIP bag and I was excited to see I may not have to get up and beat the crowds after all. But I did all my shopping online and the code they give you for the bag is the only one you can use! So the price was a bit more than I wanted to spend. Should I just do it online or should I go into the store and TRY to get the bag before they run out at the price I’m looking to spend since they can use my coupon?

The Expert answers:

Depends on which you would rather do.

I work at one and we’re expected tos ell out of the bags by noon.

So if you can save more money by going to the store, and that means more to you, then do it. If not, try online

Richard asks…

What would Jesus do in this situation? help please?

I recently received a coupon good for 5% off my next full body car wash at my local shop. The problem I’m having is that they think I am a previous customer… as you may have guessed, I am not.

You see, I took my grandpa’s car there once a while back and, though I paid for the car wash, grandpa paid me back.

This leads me to believe the right thing to do is give grandpa the coupon, but my car is filthy… should I give the coupon to grandpa or use it on my Lexus? What would Jesus do?

The Expert answers:

Jesus washed his own donkey,

But, why don’t you tell grandpa you got the coupon and ask him if he wants you to send it to him. Maybe he’ll tell you to keep it for yourself for being such a thoughtful grandchild.

George asks…

I have been looking for a reliable everyday carry ordinance. I have narrowed my search down to either the Smith & Wesson Bodyguard in 380 or the Ruger LCP. Your thoughts community? Thanks!

The Expert answers:

I dont see much use for a laser or safety on a DAO pocket pistol, so id pick the LCP (which i actually did).

Paul asks…

With these skills, Can I become a professional bodyguard?

Im enlisting in the US Army for 4 or 6 years (MP). At 5 foot 8 inches (Built like a middle linebacker), can I become a professional bodyguard upon getting out of the military? Are there other areas that I can excel in (intelligence, College degree, etc.) to make up for being short on height?

Shoot straight everyone, It will not hurt my feelings.
I spent 10 years as an amateur boxer if that helps any, thanks everyone.

The Expert answers:

Don’t let these jarhead’s fool you. If you want to be a bodyguard being an MP is an excellent way to do it. However do not I repeat do not enlist for 4 to 6 years, demand a 2 year contract and claim you will not enlist any other way. The Army has a Protective Services Detail school that is extremely hard to get into as a regular MP however they will give it to you as a re-enlistment option if you ask for it when your 2 years is close to up. If you apply yourself and ask for it you can be apart of the Personnel Security Detail for your Battalion or Brigade Commander or Sergeant Major in Iraq or Afghanistan but it isn’t that much fun trust me.

By the way being big is not a prerequisite for being intimidating.

Your Questions About Fitness

Paul asks…

I know I am unattractive, but I want to change it?

I really, really hate how I look. I am 6’3”, about 250 lbs, broad shouldered, and bald. I want to lose 100 lbs because I want to lose my broad shoulders and chest more than anything. I know I am never going to be really attractive since I am bald, but I figure at least I can minimize the thins that make me unattractive, i.e., my size. I cannot change my height, but maybe I can de-emphasize it.

I know I can stand to lose some weight, but that won’t fix what I really hate: my height and build. I know that some guys want to look big and uber-masculine, and some girls are actually attracted to that sort of thing, but I don’t care. I resent so-called compliments about my looks because they only serve to remind me that I’m not the only one who sees me as big. Last week in an elevator, some guy told me I looked like an offensive lineman. My ex-boss wife said I looked like I could be her bodyguard. I know they are trying to be nice, but hearing comments like that is, to my mindset, like telling a fat girl that she looks like she could eat a whole pizza in one sitting.

It’s pretty hard to get anyone to understand how I feel. A lot of people don’t feel guys should care how they look unless they are morbidly obese, and view a guy who hates masculine characteristics like height or a broad chest or shoulders to be an utter idiot. I have never really admired big or strong guys, not even as a kid. I never felt inadequate when I looked at Arnold Schwarzenegger or Hulk Hogan. I always saw them as a joke, a throwback to another era.

Baldness is another issue. Guys aren’t expected to care about it since a few celebrities are bald, but all the so-called sexy bald guys are real-man types like Vin Diesel or Michael Ciklis. It just serves to exacerbate the situation, to reinforce the big badass image I so want to avoid. Years ago, I spent many thousands of dollars on transplants, but they promised better results than I got. While I did get some hair on top of my head, it’s sparse and I still have a big bald spot in back, so I’m forced to just buzz it every week or two, which makes me look like a meathead.

Dating is another problem. My negative views regarding my looks have been reinforced by the fact that I have never been able to attract anyone I found interesting or good-looking. That’s not a stupid, knee-jerk “if she likes me, she can’t be worth anything” reaction…many times, I dated girls I was leery about in order to give them a fair chance, even going so far as to date several over six feet tall in an effort to de-emphasize my size. Every time, same story: the girl loved that I made her look tiny and told me she felt protected, which I found sort of ridiculous and childish. One even told me (in bed, yet) that I reminded her of her father.

My question is this…is it better to be true to yourself or to pretend you’re happy being something you hate? I have always taken pride in being a very honest person and to admit when I don’t like something about me, but being candid about my feelings only made people find my problems amusing or contemptuous. I hate the idea of having to pretend that I love being a big, bald guy, but obviously, being straight with people about how I feel doesn’t cut it, either.

Please dont tell me I look fine. I am not looking for reassurance and am well aware of my unattractiveness. Tall, bald, broad shouldered men are gross-looking unless youre casting an action movie. I dont want to “learn to love” being this way, only how to learn to deal with being alone.

The Expert answers:

Hello son
I have just read your question and I have looked at your photos.
Now I am not gay,
I am being honest with you like I would be with my own son or any other male relative or friend.
You are a good looking lad and to lose 100 lbs in weight will make you look anorexic and ill, I weigh roughly 150lbs and I am 5 ft 8 and I am only of slim build and just a few lbs over my weight.
And as for being bald loads of women find that incredibly sexy and every woman loves to feel safe and protected, and yes it is childish but it is also true, your problem is not with your bald head or your size or your weight its with your own self image, you have a false picture of yourself and have expectations far beyond your own image,
You need to speak with someone who is qualified to help you with this rather than spend money on hair replacement therapy.
I do apologise if I have offended you, that was not my intention.
But to advise you, and just one more thing before I go.
I have shown your question and photo to my sister aged 50 my Daughter aged 29 and my ward aged 18 and her friend aged 18 and they all tell me the same thing,
You are one good looking lad, and they just cant be wrong
good luck son and take care

Ok- past the possum,… Ms Hutt is ADORABLE, very pretty tail…. ……………you have issues.
You seem to already know you have issues.
Cool. Fine.

You also seem to have posted:

“I don’t want to “learn to love” being this way, only how to learn to deal with being alone.”

So- what is the point of the posting? You want some addresses of monasteries? Going Celibate?

Yes- you are obviously frustrated. You say this in frustration. You want someone to give you a logical reason why you should not feel the way you do.- and point out a line of thought, while remaining honest about how horrible mangled and deformed you are.

(AH- wait! Not a monastery. A bell tower.. The bells! The bells! I should have seen your hunchback on the photos. Sorry)

Yes- I must be facetious, because even you know you are not as ugly as you let on.

You WANT to be this ugly, because you feel this ugly.. And one of your goals is to be honest with yourself, right?

If you are not as ugly as you feel- then you are lying to yourself. You don’t want to lie to yourself.. Therefore you ARE as ugly as you feel- and no dissenting opinion is allowed

Please check your in-brain BS meter. It’s flashing.

Perception is reality. Change your perception. Change reality. You already know how gray reality is- why is it impossible to use it to your advantage?

What is your goal? To be happy or perfect? The only reason someone would want to be perfect is because they think it would make them happy… so… the ultimate goal here is happiness… right?

I do understand how the physical body affects how people interact with you.
The goal is for people to love the “real you”.. But they won’t even try unless you are beautiful. Do what you can- and let what you can’t .. Go. There is no logical alternative… unless that alternative is to mope about things you can’t change.

You say you are dating women that you don’t feel right about… to “Give them a chance”.

Why? Your gut went through all that trouble warning you they were fruit-cakes. Why are you ignoring it?
So , you date 10 woman. 9 gut-warned ding-bats, and 1 actually normal woman. You actually have a nice date with the ‘normal’ woman.
What is your success rate? It’s not 10%. It’s 100%. You are screwing up your percentiles by dating woman who are obviously not for you… and at the some time convincing yourself you are undateable.

So, Stop that already. Stop digging in the cat-box looking for diamonds. You are only going to find turds.

If you wont read my question, dont respond.
I dont want to be seen as big or imposing. That means the same to me as unattractive.
Suki – Tall, bald, and broad shouldered is simply not attractive. The only way to make it attractive is to lose it.

I dont want to date a girl who has to settle for some big bald guy. I dont care if some girls like big guys…that just makes me feel twice as awful.
mary – well, i cant be attractive with my natural body type.

I dont care what others like. I think being tall, broad shouldered, and bald is totally unattractive. I wouldnt want a girl who had to settle for someone like that.
nme – i dont want to look toned or muscular, just thin and smaller.

If some female called me a hot tall fit stud, I would feel terrible about myself.
name – i dont care what women find attractive. i dont care what the male ideal is. Most people have no taste.
L) Yes, being bald and big IS unattractive….I cannot think of a single big bald guy who is even remotely attractive.

The Expert answers:

Your question is too long, and it makes you seem self-obsessed. This is not attractive, and should be one of the first things you work on . The black and white picture is actually cute. The last picture is decent too. Being tall is always sexy. The picture with the gross looking animal is a definite turn-off, so get rid of that thing or hide it away until you meet someone who is willing to love you and whatever wierd pets you have.
Tall and broad-shouldered is hot! Where have you been? Guys are complaining about being too short!
You could get in better shape. Like more toned, more muscular. It looks like you have a bit of chub to you. You could be a really hot tall fit stud if you worked out a bit and watched what you are a little more, but don’t be a meathead, because those are gross, too.
You wanted honesty, here it is.
It’s really unattractive when guys obsess over their looks.
You know how guys want girls to be cute but not to act like they know they’re cute? Well girls want that too. We want a guy who isn’t into his looks, who doesn’t slouch, who’s confident and funny. I would take a guy with a confident and sweet attitude over a hot conceided ass anyday!

Also: You said that you don’t want a girl who would settle for a tall, broad shouldered guy??? Are you insane??? Do you know who dates tall broad shouldered guys?? Supermodels!
Yes, you do need to get in better shape, but tall and broad-shouldered is the male equivalent of a thin yet curvy for women. It’s exactly what women want in their men!

I used to paint in a body shop at one time and I found the only way to go is with a fresh air mask, as others still allow those harsh chemicals to go through them and that is not good for you.

These days you should be able to find one that is not a full face model.

Good luck.

How do i get different customers for my Body Shop At Home business?

Well i seem to have hit a road block in my Body Shop At home Business. All of my friends and family know and have ordered. I have it mentioned on Myspace and i have the website for people to order from me. It just isn’t happening for me yet!!! Any suggestions??
i am a consultant for the body shop at home. It is a spin-off of The Body Shop stores. We go to homes for “girl’s night out” parties and we sell products.

The Expert answers:

Perhaps if you made a video highlighting your Body Shop At Home business and made it very funny and placed it on YouTube, you might get some activity. Try Craigslist which is free and also perhaps start a blog and see if you can get activity that way.

Basically, you have to be patient. Advertising takes time to kick in.

How much does an auto body shop owner make?

Investor of a auto body shop-how much money does he make a year? With paying salaries paying for details etc. how much money does he have at the end of the year to put in his pocket?

The Expert answers:

It depends entirely how busy the shop is. Also, to a large degree, what his clientele is. For instance, if he was doing top of the line restoration, the profits could be very high. If he was doing basic insurance repair, the opposite would be true.

Another major factor is how big the shop is. 2 employees? Or 30 employees?

There are too many variables to give you a real answer.

Donna asks…

How do i get into the sims 2 body shop?

I want to make clothing, i just found out about body shop and i want to figure out how to open up body shop.

The Expert answers:

Go here: Start/Programs/EA GAmes/[the name of your most recently released expansion- ie if you have Pets and Freetime you must use the Freetime version]/Bodyshop and open it from there.

If you have never opened it before or if you have lots of custom content it may take 5 minutes to do anything so be patient.
